Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google — nothing else.

Dealer applications: dealership name, contact name, phone number, city and province, licence details, and website, so we can verify you are a legitimate licensed dealer before approval.

Vehicle requests and listings: the vehicle details you post (make, model, year, price range, condition, photos), plus your contact information (name, email, phone) so dealers can reach you.

Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Basic usage logs: pages visited and actions taken, used to keep the service running and prevent abuse.

To operate Dealerspace.ca: showing your request or listing to verified dealers, and revealing your contact details only as the service describes — to the dealer who claims your request, or to the winning bidder on your auction.

To process payments for dealer subscriptions, claims, and auction bids.

To send transactional emails: verification links, claim notifications, sale confirmations, and account notices.

To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We also use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Sold and completed records may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form (for example, 'recently sold' statistics). You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. If you are in a province with additional privacy rights, we will honor them.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method is perfectly secure, but we treat your information with the care it deserves.

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will note the new effective date below. Continued use of Dealerspace.ca after changes means you accept the updated policy.
